MegaMan Tego 7.5W Fire Rated Downlight (Units)

Fire safety built into the ceiling, the MegaMan Tego 7.5W Fire Rated Downlight combines efficient LED illumination with intumescent protection that helps seal the ceiling void in the event of fire. The 7.5W output replaces older halogen fittings at a fraction of the running cost, delivering clear, consistent light for kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and commercial spaces.

The recessed fitting installs straightforwardly into common ceiling cut-outs, and long-life LED performance reduces maintenance call-backs and bulb changes. Fire rated downlights are typically specified where a ceiling separates floors, such as in flats, extensions, loft conversions and HMOs, so they are a staple purchase for electricians, landlords, builders and renovators. Homeowners upgrading old halogen spots also use them to modernise lighting in one job.

Fire rated downlights are regulation-driven essentials with steady repeat demand from trade customers. Cases are available at competitive trade pricing for DIY, electrical wholesale and trade counter retail, and the boxed fittings stack neatly on lighting shelving.
